Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of work life balance on employee job satisfaction with compensation as a moderation variable in PT. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Indonesia Jakarta Branch. In today's stressful and demanding modern work era, work-life balance is an important factor in determining employee job satisfaction. This research is motivated by the high number of employees who resign which is allegedly influenced by the imbalance between employees' work and personal lives as well as dissatisfaction with the compensation system received. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 selected respondents using a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis method was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Leaset Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software to test the role of compensation in moderating the relationship between work-life balance and employee job satisfaction. The results of the study show that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Compensation also has a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction, as well as strengthening the direction of the relationship between work-life balance and employee job satisfaction. This means that employees who have a good work-life balance and have received appropriate compensation are likely to feel more satisfied. These findings provide important implications for management in designing work policies and compensation systems that support employee well-being.
