Abstract

The demand for information continues to grow, as reflected in the increasing use of social media platforms, especially Instagram. @berbagicerita.id is an Instagram account that serves as a space for public communication and information-sharing, with a particular focus on mental health. The account was created to educate the public about mental health issues and to make online counseling more accessible, addressing the stigma that still surrounds it. This study explores how @berbagicerita.id manages its social media presence using the Circular Model of Some theory.
Social media management plays a key role in how @berbagicerita.id operates. This research uses the Circular Model of Some as a framework for planning and implementing communication strategies. In the Share stage, the team builds trust and selects the right channels to interact with followers. In the Optimize stage, the focus is on enhancing communication planning. The Manage stage involves handling relevant messages, monitoring audience responses, and conducting evaluations. In the Engage stage, the team identifies who should be involved, what actions they hope users will take after seeing the content, and what kind of response the organization expects in return.
This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and validated using source triangulation to compare and confirm the findings. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model.
The results show that in the Share stage, the information and educational content shared by @berbagicerita.id is clear and effective in delivering the intended messages. In the Optimize stage, the Instagram account @berbagicerita.id actively listens and pays close attention to ongoing public discussions. In the Manage stage, the @berbagicerita.id social media team conducts media monitoring and responds quickly to audience feedback. Finally, in the Engage stage, @berbagicerita.id initiates activities that lead to increased interaction, including collaborations with media partners.
