Abstract

This research aims to describe the impact of the PT Karunia Alam Segar factory on the people of Sukomulyo Village. PT Karunia Alam Segar is a company engaged in the food industry to have a good effect on the surrounding community. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, where data is collected through in-depth interviews with local residents and field observations. The results showed that the establishment of the PT Karunia Alam Segar factory had a positive impact on the people of Sukomulyo Village by submitting complaints to PT Karunia Alam Segar through demonstrations. This is intended so that PT Karunia Alam Segar can be aware of the agreements that have been agreed between the community and the PT Karunia Alam Segar factory, such as minimizing air pollution, health compensation, employment, becoming partners and job vacancy information directly without intermediaries. This research is expected to provide an overview for local managers in improving the sustainability of welfare and creating harmonious relationships.
