Abstract
The microclimate conditions of the pen have a very important role in the success of livestock maintenance. A good microclimate will support the comfort of livestock so that it can increase the efficiency of livestock productivity. The response of livestock to inappropriate microclimate conditions is by providing physiological responses such as abnormal respiratory rate, heart rate and rectal temperature in an effort to stabilize body temperature conditions. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a sample population of 8-month-old Coastal Cows of 7 male sex. Sampling itself was carried out 3 times a day, the samples observed consisted of temperature, humidity, respiratory rate, heart rate and rectal temperature. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the microclimate conditions at the Padang Mengatas BPTU-HPT had no correlation with the physiological response of Coastal Cows.
