Abstract
Abstract. Women who undertake dual roles as workers and homemakers face challenges in balancing public and domestic responsibilities. This imbalance can potentially affect their psychological well-being. This study aims to explore the level of psychological well-being among women with dual roles, as well as the influencing factors. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, with accidental sampling involving 53 married women aged 28–40 who work outside the home. Data were collected using a modified Psychological Well-Being scale and analyzed using SPSS. The results indicated that most participants demonstrated high levels of psychological well-being, particularly in the dimensions of autonomy and purpose in life. Women working as teachers had the highest well-being scores. Age, type of profession, social support, and life experience were found to be key contributing factors. These findings highlight the critical role of spousal and environmental support in enabling women to manage their dual roles effectively and maintain psychological health.
