Abstract

a socialization strategy is a frame or action built and prepared in a program activity sequence, made for achieving a goal that has been assigned with calculating and considering its strenghtness and weakness. The socialization strategy has an important role to achieve a goal. Thus the socialization strategy is a way to do activities related to election to increase voter participation. General Election Commissions (KPU) is an authorized institution to organize general elections at both central or regional levels. The institution has some set authority levels such as provincial KPU as a general election organizer for all provinces, and district/city KPU for all districts/cities. Indonesia has 3 election types, namely State Head/Presidential, District Head and Legislative Council/House of Representatives Elections (DPR). The participation has a wide role as a society’s particularity, about how its action influencing all social, economical and political forces, mainly that empowering individual and group voters. The voters have the vote to determine the presidential candidats who are propered to be a country leader.
