IMPLEMENTASI BANTUAN LANGSUNG TUNAI DANA DESA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT DESA SEDULANG KECAMATAN MUARA KAMAN KABUPATEN KUTAI KARTANEGARA

Abstract This study aims to find out how the implementation of direct cash assistance
from the Village Fund provided by the Regional Government to the people of Sedulang
Village, Muara Kaman District. The main purpose of this study is to find out how the
Direct Cash Assistance program is implemented to the community in Sedulang Village,
and also this research is to improve the welfare of the community in the village. This
study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research type, which aims to analyze
independent variables. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling
techniques, while data collection techniques were carried out through observation,
interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data
reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The credibility test was used to
test data freedom in this study The results of the study show that the implementation of
Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance by the government to the community experiences
several obstacles, such as misdistribution or can be called not on target. This is due to
the lack of human resources in the Sedulang Village community, as well as the
existence of Village Government constituencies. The conclusion of this study is that
Direct Cash Assistance has a very important impact on people in need, but there is a
need for supervision and improvement in the aspects of distribution and management
to be more effective and sustainable
