PENGARUH DETERMINASI DIRI DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KARIER PADA MAHASISWA TINGKAT AKHIR DI MALANG

The lack of self-determination and emotional intelligence makes it difficult for individuals to take action to decide on their future career. Good self-determination and emotional intelligence are important because they help individuals decide on their actions towards career decision making. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-determination and emotional intelligence on career decision making in final year students in Malang. This research method is quantitative correlation. The subjects of this study amounted to 284 final year students in Malang with accidental sampling technique. The instruments used Psychological Need Theory (BPNT), Schutte Self-Report Emotional Intelligence Test (SSEIT), and Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale (CDMSE). The results show that determination has a positive and significant effect on career decision making. On emotional intelligence has a negative and significant effect on career decision making.
