Abstract
Baluran National Park has an abundant diversity of plant species and certainly has benefits, one of which has the potential for natural pesticides. The purpose of this study is to determine the diversity of plants that have potential as pesticides. This research method uses descriptive quantitative. Data analysis used in this study is the index of important value (INP) and diversity index. The results of this study showed that the level of diversity of lower plants was dominated by wave leaf basket grass with an INP value of 127%, the seedling level was dominated by lamtoro with an INP value of 120.4%, the stake level was dominated by serut with an INP value of 95%, the pole level was dominated by serut with an INP value of 152.7% and the tree was dominated by serut with an INP value of 125.87%. The diversity index in the evergreen forest of Baluran National Park has a value of 1.7976 which indicates a moderate level of diversity. The results of this study also found that a total of 14 plant species, 7 of which have the potential as pesticides. Plants that have the potential as natural pesticides in the evergreen forest of Baluran National Park are lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala de Wit), tamarind (Tamarindus indica Linn.), tembelekan (Lantana camara Linn.), bandotan (Ageratum coyzoides Linn.). Rukam (Flacourtia rukam Zoll & Moritzi), betel (Piper betle Linn.) and Chinese betel (Peperomia pellucida Linn.).
