ANALISIS POLA PEMELIHARAAN SAPI PESISIR DARA SECARA EKSTENSIF, STUDY KASUS DI BPTU-HPT PADANG MENGATAS

Rearing patterns have a very important role in the method of rearing local coastal heifers
which are reared extensively. Therefore, maintenance patterns such as aspects of feed
processing, land use and seed selection must be in accordance with existing journals and
literature. This research uses methods to extensively analyze aspects of feed management, land use and seed selection in the extensive rearing patterns of local Pesisir Dara cattle at
BPTU-HPT Padang Mengatas. Primary data was collected through structured interviews
involving managers and experts. The primary data collected will be compared with
secondary data obtained from journals and literature. Then analyzed qualitatively
descriptively to identify the maintenance pattern of each aspect, as well as its relationship to
the success of extensive maintenance.
