Abstract
This study discusses the influence of work conflict on organizational climate and its impact on employee performance. Using explanatory research type and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The sample used was 92 employees. The results of the study showed that work conflict has a significant positive effect on employee performance. This means that work conflict that occurs can be interpreted constructively in improving performance if handled properly. Work conflict has a significant positive effect on organizational climate. This shows that healthy conflict can encourage the creation of an open and supportive work environment. Then, the results of the direct influence of organizational climate on employee performance show that organizational climate has a significant positive effect. Finally, the results of the indirect influence of work conflict variables on employee performance through organizational climate are stated to have a significant effect. A conducive organizational climate is able to significantly mediate the relationship between work conflict and employee performance, thereby strengthening the positive influence of conflict on improving work performance.
