Abstract

The construction of the Fly Over connecting Sidoarjo-Juanda and Juanda-Surabaya can improve accessibility on the national road across the East Java Province Pantura and also access to Juanda International Airport. Sidoarjo is a low-lying area, this causes the soil in the Sidoarjo area to be predominantly clay. Clay soil has high cohesiveness. High cohesiveness causes the soil to change according to the weather. In dry conditions, the soil will be hard, and if wet it will be soft plastic. A suitable foundation for clayey areas is a pile foundation. In planning the size of the foundation, it is necessary to know the weight received by the pillar due to the load of the upper structure and N-SPT data. N-SPT data is obtained from soil tests such as Boring Test. The load received by the pillar due to the upper structure of the bridge from the results of the loading analysis is ∑V = 1745.65 tons, ∑H = 229.98 tons. The dimensions of the pile cap: Height = 2 meters, width = 9 meters, pillar length = 9 meters, the number of pile foundations is 16 pieces with a diameter of 0.8 meters.
