The growth of an area usually triggers a surge in the movement of people and goods, both within and outside the area, thus increasing the need for transportation infrastructure. Roads play an important role as connections between locations on land. Roads are defined as transportation infrastructure that includes all components of the road and all of its accessories, aimed at supporting traffic loads on the surface of the ground, underground, and above the surface of the water. In road planning, most of the process focuses on analysis and design, particularly on geometric aspects and road pavement. For the Indragiri Hulu area, the planned road length is 5 km.
