Abstract
Pasuruan City is ranked among the cities with the highest amount of waste generation in East Java. Blandongan TPA is the only TPA in Pasuruan City, of course serving all sub-districts in Pasuruan City. The operational system used is controlled land fill and the land area of Blandongan TPA is ± 6,151 Ha. The generation of waste generated in the Blandongan TPA service area, Pasuruan City from the results of an 8 day survey was 0.437 kg/person/day, planning for the Blandongan TPA with the sanitary land type for the next 10 years includes 1 phase measuring 125 m x 40 m with a total area of 23,150 meters, daily waste cell size of 5m x 11m x 2.5m, placing methane gas pipes at the TPA. Blandongan is installed with a distance between pipes of 30m and 35m in the middle, and installed at a depth of 80% of the total height of the landfill, in this case 12m. The leachate pipe is divided into 5 parts with the smallest diameter being 1" inch and the largest diameter being 1.5" inch. (IPAL) is planned to consist of an anaerobic pond with dimensions of 4 m x 2 m x 5 m, a facultative pond with dimensions of 3 m x 1,5 m x 2.5 m, and a maturation pond with dimensions of 4 m x 2 m x 1.5 m.
