TAKARIR BAHASA ARAB PADA VIDEO PROFIL FAKULTAS AGAMA ISLAM UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

As the number of new students (CAMABA) from abroad, particularly from
the Middle East, increased, this growth required an effective communication
strategy to convey information through the faculty profile video in a clear and
accurate manner. Language barriers became a major obstacle, as the current FAI
UMM profile video, which was in Indonesian, limited the understanding of foreign
students, especially those from the Middle East. This portfolio focused on the
development of Arabic takarirs for the Islamic Studies Faculty profile video to
facilitate effective communication with international students and enhance the
faculty's global image. In the process of subtitling the Islamic Studies Faculty
profile video from Indonesian to Arabic, the author used a communicative method,
which involved conveying the contextual meaning of the source language quickly.
