Abstract

Substance abuse can become a serious problem and a threat to the future generation. With the increasing number of addicts and victims of drug abuse, there is a need for rehabilitation or treatment to help them recover, one of which is outpatient social rehabilitation. The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation stages of the program and the outpatient rehabilitation services for drug abusers at the Gennesa Foundation in Banyuwangi. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type. This research uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses qualitative analysis with an interactive model (Miles & Huberman). The results of this study show that (1) The implementation of the outpatient rehabilitation services program for drug abusers at the Gennesa Foundation in Banyuwangi has been carried out according to the standards of social rehabilitation services. The stages include initial reception, assessment, intervention planning, intervention, termination, and aftercare. (2) The outpatient rehabilitation programs at the Gennesa Foundation in Banyuwangi are provided based on the needs of the drug-abusing clients, such as individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, and vocational programs.
