Abstract

This study aims to develop a user interface design for a forest conservation application featuring storytelling and educational modules to raise public awareness about the importance of forest conservation. The main issue addressed is the low level of public awareness regarding forest conservation, which highlights the need for more interactive and accessible educational media. The research employs the UX Journey approach, which includes the stages of Discover, Explore, Test, and Listen. The validation and verification of the design solution are conducted through A/B Testing, Requirement Metrics, Acceptance Criteria, and Use Case Logic. The study involves evaluations by respondents to ensure the developed design aligns with their needs and expectations. The results indicate that the application’s user interface design effectively meets user requirements by delivering an engaging educational experience. The storytelling feature helps users understand conservation issues through a narrative approach, while the learning modules provide easily accessible information. This application is expected to serve as an effective tool in increasing public awareness of the importance of forest preservation.
