Abstract
Events involving horeg sound caused a lot of chaos between fans of horeg sound and people who were against it. Horeg sound fans are very ambitious to get recognition that their group is superior to other groups. This recognition influences the group image used by group members as their social identity to support self-esteem. Behavior that denigrates other groups and feels that one's group is superior is a characteristic of collective narcissism behavior. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-esteem and collective narcissism behavior among people who are fans of horeg sound. The sample in this study were horeg sound fans (N=199). The sample was determined using convenience sampling and the measuring instruments used were the collective narcissism scale and the Rosenberg self-esteem scale. The hypothesis testing analysis technique uses correlational analysis. The research results show that there is a significant relationship with the sig value. 0.035 and negative value (r= -.129) between self-esteem and collective narcissism in horeg sound fans.
