Abstract

The increase in tariffs for online transportation services is a major problem for students who depend on these services because they do not have private vehicles. This research aims to design a transportation application based on the UX Journey method that offers services between students at more affordable rates. The problem formulation includes identifying user needs, designing a user-friendly interface, and validation using requirements metrics and acceptance criteria. The research method involved a qualitative approach through interviews, observations, and SWOT analysis, and a quantitative approach to test the validity of the findings. Data analysis was conducted through reduction and patterning of user behavior. The research shows that the designed app provides an efficient transportation solution for university students. The app is designed to enhance the user experience through an intuitive interface and features that meet the needs of students. In conclusion, the app is able to address students' needs for affordable transportation while providing significant social and economic benefits.
