Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) users often face challenges in discovering and purchasing games and applications that match their preferences. The lack of dedicated platforms tailored to the distribution of VR digital content has led to confusion in an increasingly fast-growing market. This study adopts a UX Journey approach—combining interviews, observations, and literature review—to gain insights into user experiences and identify their core needs. This approach supports the development of a user-centered application aimed at solving key pain points and enhancing overall user satisfaction. The study produced a prototype for a VR digital game distribution platform featuring a virtual lobby and interactive events, allowing users to engage with one another in immersive environments. A/B testing demonstrated that the prototype outperformed existing competitors in both design and functionality, achieving an Acceptance Criteria score of 81, which reflects a high level of user satisfaction. Validation through Use Case Logic and Requirement Metrics confirmed that the application meets user expectations and technical requirements. Ultimately, the platform streamlines the discovery and purchase of VR content while significantly enriching the user experience, offering strong potential for future development and market impact.
