PENJATUHAN BOM OLEH JUNTA MYANMAR DI KONSER MUSIK KACHIN MENURUT HUKUM HUMANITER INTERNASIONAL

The dropping of bombs aimed at the Belligerent Kachin Independence Organization (KIO) group by the Myanmar Junta military is considered a war crime. The bombs dropped from three planes during a music concert in the Kachin region on October 23, 2022, caused a lot of casualties, with 80 people killed and 100 injured. The casualties caused by this bomb not only affected members of the Belligerent KIO, but civilians and even small children were also victims of this bombing. The conflict between the KIO and the Myanmar Military has been going on since 1961, where this war started from ethnic and internal political problems. The attacks carried out by the Myanmar Junta government are indicated to have violated International Humanitarian Law, the conflict between the KIO and the Myanmar Junta Military is a non-international armed conflict. The Myanmar Junta government denies the killing of civilians, the Junta claims that the airstrikes are fake news and have followed the rules of the Geneva Convention and do not violate International Humanitarian Law.
