Abstract

Niaga Street in Mojokerto Regency experiences congestion during peak hours due to high traffic volume, side friction, and vehicles entering and exiting. The main objective of this study is to improve the performance of the road segment on Niaga Street in Mojokerto Regency. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach by collecting data such as vehicle volume, road geometry, and vehicle growth in Mojokerto Regency. The guidelines used in this analysis refer to the PKJI 2023. Based on the analysis results, the current degree of saturation on Niaga Street is 0.865 (greater than 0.85) with LOS D. Therefore, to address this issue, it is necessary to prohibit street vending and parking activities, which is expected to reduce the degree of saturation to 0.427-0.822 with LOS B-D (from 2025 to 2035).
