Abstract
Employees played a crucial role in improving the quality and stability of organizations. One supporting factor was organizational commitment, which contributed to employee loyalty, productivity, and company sustainability. However, low commitment became
a challenge for organizations, as reflected in high turnover rates and decreased work motivation. Islamic work ethics emerged as a strategy that could be implemented, especially in Indonesia, where many organizations had adopted Islamic values in their work culture. Islamic work ethics emphasized values such as honesty, hard work, and employee responsibility. This study aimed to analyze the influence of Islamic work ethics on organizational commitment using a quantitative method through simple linear regression analysis. The number of respondents was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 134 permanent employees working in companies that implemented Islamic values. The results of the study showed that Islamic work ethics had a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment.
Therefore, the findings of this study could serve as a reference for organizations with a majority of Muslim employees to adopt Islamic values in their work culture in order to enhance organizational commitment.
