Abstract
Generation Z increasingly dominates the workforce, particularly in start-up companies with dynamic and innovation-driven work cultures. Their job satisfaction can be influenced by leadership styles, one of which is transformational leadership. This study analyzes the relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership and job satisfaction among Generation Z employees in start-up companies. A quantitative correlational approach was used with 349 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were collected using the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) and Job Satisfaction Scale, then analyzed using Pearson correlation. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between transformational leadership and job satisfaction (r = 0.557, p < 0.01). This means that the more positively employees perceive transformational leadership, the higher their job satisfaction. These findings provide insights for start-up companies in developing more effective leadership strategies to enhance job satisfaction among Generation Z employees.
