Abstract
Whiz Secondfootwear is a store that offers a variety of imported second-hand shoes from various international brands at affordable prices. The lack of effectiveness in the interaction between sellers and buyers in online media has resulted in inefficient sales for Whiz Secondfootwear, both offline and online. Designing an effective user interface is not an easy task. Users with diverse backgrounds, needs, and preferences require a design approach that can accommodate these differences. Therefore, the Design Thinking method has become a very popular approach in designing user interfaces for applications. Design Thinking is an iterative approach that focuses on problem-solving based on user needs. This method consists of five main stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Applying this method in application design can lead to innovative solutions that are relevant to user needs. The initial step involves identifying design problems by applying the Design Thinking approach. In the first stage, Empathize, interviews are conducted with stakeholders. Once the problems are identified, the second stage, Define, involves reviewing the issues and needs and determining the priority level to address the problems by creating an Affinity Diagram and User Persona. In the third stage, Ideate, solutions to the identified problems are developed by creating a user journey map and user flow. In the fourth stage, Prototype, several features will be tailored to user needs, including the login process, account registration, product search, favorites, and checkout. In the final step, usability testing will be conducted using Maze to gather statistical data.
