RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI PUBLIKASI DAN KOLABORASI BERBASIS WEBSITE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE DESIGN THINKING (STUDI KASUS: ACADEMIC ASSOCIATION OF CREATIVE ECONOMY, MALANG CREATIVE CENTER)

Digital transformation has opened up opportunities for the creative economy sector to develop through the use of information technology. The Academic Association of Creative Economy (AACE), as a part of the Malang Creative Center, consists of academics who have a vision of developing the creative economy. However, based on an interview with the general secretary of AACE, it is known that AACE faces challenges in that it does not have a forum or platform to be able to partner and collaborate with creative economy players and to be able to store data on the activities they carry out. Processes that have been dependent on social media platforms are considered less efficient in supporting transparency, data management and structured communication. To answer these needs, this research aims to design and build a Website-Based Publication and Collaboration Information System Using the Design Thinking Method.
This study applies the Design Thinking Method to explore user needs, problems faced by users, and develop design solutions into an web-based application. The stages carried out in this method include, empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test, and implementation. The results of this study are a website-based information system design built using the Laravel framework which tested using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and getting a score of 79 in the "B" or "Acceptable" grade scale category and using the Black box testing method for testing website features with the results that each feature on the website can run well. With this website, AACE is expected to maximize the potential for collaboration and strengthen its contribution to the growth of the creative economy ecosystem, especially in Malang City.
