Abstract

This study aims to implement a budget filter feature in the recipe app prototype design. The method used is the UX Journey approach, which involves user need analysis, interaction design, and prototype testing. The sample consists of users who want to search for recipes based on their budget. The research design includes the development of a prototype app with a budget filter feature that allows users to filter recipes according to their shopping budget. Data analysis is carried out through interviews related to user needs. The results indicate that the implementation of the budget filter feature enhances user convenience and meets the need to find recipes that align with their shopping budget. Users responded positively to the feature, reporting
that it helped them plan shopping and cooking more efficiently. The design of the app prototype with this budget filter feature is expected to improve the user experience and assist users in managing their shopping budget and choosing appropriate recipes. Thus, this study contributes significantly to the design of a more responsive recipe app prototype that meets user needs.
