Abstract

Software testing is essential in ensuring the quality of a system. This study aims to test the functionality of the rentcam website, a platform used to rent cameras and lenses. The equivalence partitioning test that will be used in this study, by grouping input data into valid and invalid partitions. From the existing features, several variables will be selected to be tested, then separated into valid and invalid partitions that will ensure that the system is in accordance with user expectations or not. The results of this test will later be used as material for improvement if bugs or errors are found in the system. This test also confirms that the RentCam website can run according to specifications, both in handling correct input and in managing input errors. Thus, this study contributes to improving the quality of the RentCam system, as well as offering an efficient testing approach for similar applications.
