Abstract

In its development, learning methods continue to undergo innovation and renewal, as does the Iqro learning method, which was initially only available in the form of printed books or Al-Kitab. Now, with technological advancements, all of these have been transformed into digital formats in the form of Android-based applications that can be downloaded on smartphones. However, in practice, there are still many applications that merely include the material without considering the aspect of user comfort when using the application. This highlights the importance of implementing UI/UX design that aligns with user needs to support the learning process. Here, the researcher presents the development of the Aplikasi Belajar Iqro (Ajari) using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method to determine the UI/UX design that suits user needs. From the research conducted, this study obtained significant results from tests conducted on 10 application users after the implementation of the design in the Ajari application. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of UI/UX design can influence user understanding, specifically students, in Iqro learning.
