Abstract

Subsidized housing in Indonesia is one of the government's initiatives to provide decent and affordable housing for low-income people (MBR). Based on Law Number 1 of 2011 concerning Housing and Residential Areas, the government has an obligation to provide decent housing for all levels of society, including MBR.This program is also supported by financing policies such as the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) which provides credit interest subsidies, as well as Self-Help Housing Stimulus Assistance (BSPS) which helps people build or renovate their homes. Analyze the implementation of legal principles governing subsidized housing and Identify efforts made by the Situbondo Regency government against the many subsidized housing that are not in accordance with the targets in the Situbondo Regency area. This study uses an empirical legal research type that focuses on facts and data collected from existing realities, and aims to test hypotheses or answer research questions based on real evidence. The results of this study, the implementation of Article 3 of Law Number 1 of 2011 in Situbondo Regency has had a positive impact on low-income communities, although they still face challenges of limited land, housing distribution, and budget, with handling efforts through strict regulations and [integrated supervision
