Abstract

The digital gaming industry has grown rapidly and become one of the most dynamic sectors. In this context, virtual items used in online games play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and strengthening player engagement and loyalty. One strategy employed is the reward system in game credit sales, which can improve player satisfaction by offering personalized rewards such as exclusive items and discounts. However, game developers face various challenges, including difficulties in integrating the reward system with existing technological infrastructure, as well as ensuring system security and reliability to maintain player trust in the gaming platform. This study aims to design and implement a reward system using the UX Journey method to enhance user experience, focusing on players of Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang. In addition, the study evaluates the impact of the reward system on player satisfaction and the factors influencing in-game item purchasing decisions. A well-designed reward system can boost player engagement and also drive revenue growth for developers. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the most effective types of rewards to increase player loyalty and how to integrate such systems into existing infrastructures.
