Abstract

The behavior of organizational fellow is a very important aspect of an organization’s success, especially positive behavior known as Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This behavior can be improved through a strong organizational culture and proactive personality of its fellow. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and proactive personality on OCB. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis and the JASP software. The respondents in this study are 118 teachers with a minimum of one year of work experience in Kotawaringin Timur Regency. The instruments used include the organizational culture scale, Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior scale. The results of this study show a simultanoeous influence (F = 68.855; p<.001) between organizational culture and proactive personality. Partially, organizational culture has a significant influence (β = 0.277; p < .001) on OCB, and proactive personality also has a significant influence (β = 0.766; p < .001) on OCB. Therefore, it is important for organizations to pay more attention and strengthen the organizational culture and proactive personality development in improving OCB. In this way, optimizing organizational culture and proactive personality can create a better work environment and performance and achieve organizational goals more effectively.
