ANALISIS PENERAPAN GREEN LEADERSHIP DI HOTELGRAND MERCURE MALANG MIRAMA

This research aims to implement the concept of Green Leadership at the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel as part of the hotel's efforts to apply the principles of Green Hotel in its operations. Green Leadership refers to a leader's ability to direct all resources towards sustainable and socially responsible practices. In this study, data was collected through interviews, direct observations, and documentation related to sustainability policies and programs implemented in hotels. The results of the analysis show that the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel has integrated Green Leadership in various aspects of its operations, ranging from waste management, energy saving, to the use of environmentally friendly materials. In addition, hotel management also provides training to staff to support the implementation of the policy. Sustainability is essential for companies to effectively address environmental challenges. As stakeholders become more environmentally conscious, companies are under greater pressure to implement green leadership and share environmental knowledge to improve sustainable performance. This research is expected to provide insights for other hotel managers in implementing Green Leadership leadership and make a positive contribution to the hospitality industry in creating an environment that focuses on sustainability. The ability of a General Manager is very important in the implementation of Green Leadership in developing a vision and strategy that focuses on sustainability, in addition to the role in motivating all employees and consumers to participate in sustainability programs.
