Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the impact of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) on Return On Assets (ROA) in manufacturing companies. With increasing global attention on sustainable business practice, ESG has emerged as a critical consideration for investors and companies alike. The method samples employed was purposive sampling technique and there were 363 companies from manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2019-2021. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 25. The result of this study indicate that environmental disclosure positively influence return on assets. Meanwhile social and governance disclosure indicates a negative relationship with the return on assets. This study’s finding suggest that business should consider about ESG performance to increase return on asset while making decisions.
