Abstract
Migrant students often face emotional challenges such as homesickness, which can affect their ability to adapt to a new environment. One of the factors influencing homesickness is perceived behavioral control. This study aims to examine the effect of perceived behavioral control on homesickness among migrant students. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The participants consist of migrant students from outside java island. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling, with data collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 308 respondents. The instruments used in this study include the perceived behavioral control scale, adapted by the researcher based on the theory of Fishbein and Ajzen (2010), and the Homesickness Questionnaire (HQ), developed by Archer (1998) and adapted by Sinantia (2022). Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results indicate that perceived behavioral control has a significant positive effect on homesickness among migrant students.
