SOLUSI DESAIN WEBSITE KAMPANYE CALON KEPALA DAERAH KABUPATEN KUTAI TIMUR MENGGUNAKAN METODE UX JOURNEY

Issue: The large area of Kutai Timur Regency and limited budget require regional head pairs to carry out more effective campaign strategies, one of which is campaigning via the internet. The use of the internet in political communication is considered more effective because digital media provides easier access and allows for the rapid dissemination of information, and can be done without requiring a large budget. Therefore, it is necessary to have a campaign website design for the Kutai Timur Regency regional head candidates that is designed to make it easier for users to access political information according to user needs. Method: The method used is the UX Journey method which combines user experience and needs to explore and understand their needs, with reference to the characteristics of the user experience. Results: The results of this study were tested using A/B testing, acceptance criteria and system usability scales. A/B testing is a test to compare the design that was used as inspiration and the design that the researcher made. The results of the A/B joint testing test found that the design that the researcher made had a higher score than the competitor's design. The results of the acceptance criteria test found that the website design of the Kutai Timur Regency regional head candidate that had been made was in accordance with user expectations. The results of the system usability scale test found that the campaign website design of the Kutai Timur Regency regional head candidate received an average score of 88.5 which was in the grade A category from the letter grade, best imaginable from the range adjective and acceptable from the acceptance.Conclusion and development: From the results obtained in this study, the application of the UX Journey method provides good results for designing a campaign website design solution for the Kutai Timur Regency regional head candidate to make it easier for users to access political information according to user needs.
