Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT Dyandra Media International Tbk during the 2019–2023 period using the Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) methods. This study employs a quantitative research approach with a model application. It utilizes secondary data in the form of financial reports and annual reports of PT Dyandra Media International Tbk for the 2016–2020 period, published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data collection technique used is the documentation method. The results indicate fluctuating financial performance, with positive EVA values in 2019, 2022, and 2023, reflecting that economic value has been successfully created by management and that the company’s financial performance is in good condition. Conversely, negative EVA values in 2020 and 2021 suggest that the company did not experience an increase in added value, as the profits generated did not meet the expectations of investors and creditors. The MVA calculations consistently show negative values, indicating that the company failed to increase the capital value invested by stakeholders.
