Abstract

UPT X is an institution under the Social Services Department that assists elementary school-aged children with social functioning difficulties through a 25-day intervention program. This study develops an intervention module using the Research and Development (RnD) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Module validation was conducted purposively using Aiken’s V formula to assess content validity. The analysis results indicate that the intervention module is categorized as valid, with several recommendations for improvement related to media and content. It is recommended that the Achievement Motivation module be integrated into the institution's programs for children with low achievement motivation. The implementation of this module can be carried out as part of social guidance or an additional program, supported by staff training on the Achievement Motivation Training (AMT) method and the use of a token economy to reinforce positive behavior. Regular evaluations are necessary to ensure the module’s effectiveness and to make improvements based on implementation outcomes.
