PERUBAHAN SOSIAL EKONOMI PEDAGANG ALUN-ALUN KOTA PASURUAN PASCA REVITALISASI

Socio-economic change is a change that occurs in the structure of life and influences people's patterns of behavior and thinking to create supportive economic changes. In this research, socio-economic change refers to Pasuruan City Square traders who experienced social changes and economic changes after the revitalization of the center of Pasuruan City by creating Medina City and the implementation of the relocation policy for Street Vendors (PKL). The aim of this research is to determine the existence of socio-economic changes resulting from policies from the Pasuruan City Government aimed at traders. This research uses a qualitative approach method with a case study type using data sourced from primary and secondary data. In preparing this research, researchers collected data by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted in depth with predetermined subjects using purposive techniques, to support the analysis of this research using the Social Solidarity Theory proposed by Emile Durkheim. The results of this research show that there is a socio-economic change brought about especially for traders, social change refers to changes in the structure and interaction patterns of traders in Pasuruan City Square and economic change refers to an increase in the economy of traders caused by the large number of tourist visits in Pasurun City Square, thereby bringing profits to street vendors.
