Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intention with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as an Intervening Variable at Cafes in the Lowokwaru District Area, Malang City. The population in this study focuses on all employees at the cafes excluding managers and owners. Sampling using purposive sampling with a total of 40 respondents. The type of quantitative research with data collection methods through observation, questionnaire distribution. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely SEMPLS. The results of the analysis obtained that in testing the organizational commitment variable had a negative and indirect effect on the turnover intention variable, the Organizational Commitment variable had a positive and significant effect on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable, and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable had a positive and significant effect on the turnover intention variable. However, in terms of causality, the Organizational Commitment variable had a positive and indirect effect on the turnover intention variable with Organizational Citizenship Behavior as an intervening mediating variable.
