ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN PRODUKSI USAHATANI KENTANG DI DESA SUMBER BRANTAS KOTA BATU

Farming is assumed as an effort of work, capital and nature that is allocated for production,
especially in the agricultural sector. Potatoes are a type of vegetable that is generally preferred
by every farmer, because it is classified as having sufficient economic value. This study aims
to analyze potato income and production in Sumber Brantas Village, Bumiaji District, Batu
City. This study uses a quantitative research design with survey research techniques and the
basic research method is descriptive. The population of this study were farmers in Sumber
Brantas Village taken at 15% or 0.15%, namely 40 respondents. The results of this study
indicate that potato farmers in Sumber Brantas Village plant Granola Variety Potatoes with an
average potato productivity of 19,130 per planting season/Ha, production costs reach
198,309,692 per ha, revenue of 267,825,833 per ha, then the average income obtained by potato
farmers is 69,516,141 per ha. Furthermore, profitability reaches 26% with a Net Profit Margin>
5%, so potato farming in Sumber Brantas Village is profitable.
