Abstract
This research was conducted to determine the influence of External and Internal Motivation on Employee Work Productivity at PT. Kariyana Gita Utama. It also aims to determine which type of motivation has a more dominant effect on employee work productivity at PT. Kariyana Gita Utama. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a survey questionnaire as the main instrument for collecting data regarding motivation and work productivity. The data is analyzed using SEM-PLS to assess the effect of the independent variables (motivation) on the dependent variable (work productivity). The research results show that R² = 0.473, indicating that 47.3% of the variance in the latent variable of Work Productivity can be explained by the independent variables in the model, Internal and External Motivation. This shows that the model is quite good, although there is still room for improvement. Internal motivation (X1) and external motivation (X2) together do not have a significant effect on work productivity (Y) in this model, and the hypothesis test in this analysis is not accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that internal and external motivation together do not significantly affect work productivity in this model. Internal motivation (X1) has a more significant effect on work productivity (Y) compared to external motivation (X2), as its T-statistic value is higher (1.590 > 0.910).
