Abstract

This study analyzes job satisfaction, employee performance and organizational commitment. In addition, this study also analyzes the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance through organizational commitment as a mediating variable at PDAM Tirta Wening Trenggalek. This study is a quantitative approach that obtains respondent responses. Using questionnaire data from a sample of 45 respondents with a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis method used in this study is scale range, path analysis, and hypothesis. The results of the calculation of the job satisfaction variable scale consisting of opportunities for advancement, salary, coworkers, working conditions with average results in the satisfied category. Employee performance, the amount of work, quality of work, punctuality, and the ability to work together with average results in the high category and the last organizational commitment with average results in the high category. The results of the direct influence test with the results accepted and the indirect influence test with the results accepted which mean positive and significant. This shows that job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance through organizational commitment as a mediating variable partially.
