Abstract
Introduction : Hallucinations are one of the typical symptoms found in
schizophrenia, and are characterized by distorted or false sensory experiences, which are perceived as something real. Non pharmacological therapy can use interventions to control hallucinations, namely rebuking and modification of psychoreligious therapy interventions, one of which is dhikr. This case study aims to identify the application of modification of the implementation strategy 1
hallucination with a spiritual approach (dhikr) in patients with symptoms of visual and auditory hallucinations accompanied by Steven Johnson Syndrome in the Gili Trawangan Room, Dr. Saiful Anwar Hospital, Malang City.
Methods : This study is a case study of nursing care that includes assessment, data analysis, nursing intervention, implementation and evaluation. The assessment and data collection process is carried out using various techniques, including: interviews with patients, observation, and documentation. Results : The results of the study showed that the client was able to control his hallucinations by rebuking them with dhikr, on the 4th day the patient was able to explain that the hallucinations were not real, and the patient was able to practice and control the hallucinations by rebuking them with dhikr, taking medication, having conversations, and scheduling daily activities.
Conclusion : The application of modification of the implementation strategy 1 hallucination with a spiritual approach (dhikr) has proven effective in patients with symptoms of visual and auditory hallucinations accompanied by Steven Johnson Syndrome.
