Abstract

Abstract, Understanding of children's character education in the context of Islamic teachings in Indonesia has decreased significantly, especially with the widespread use of social media as the main source of information. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the relevance and implementation of the concept of children's education in Islam in the digital era based on the book Kaifa Nurabbi Awladana by Muhammad Bin Jamil Zainu. Some of the educational methods discussed include role models, habits, dialogue, stories, and direct practice. Emphasis is placed on the important role of the family, especially parents, in shaping the character of children who have noble morals and a strong understanding of religion. This study uses a literature study method with a descriptive-analytical approach, examining relevant primary and secondary sources. The discussion focuses on the interpretation of Surah Luqman verses 13-19 as the basis for children's education, which includes aspects of monotheism, morals, and worship. The discussion in this study compared to previous studies lies in the contextualization of the concept of children's education in Islam, especially those described in the book "Kaifa Nurabbi Awladana" by Muhammad Bin Jamil Zainu, to the challenges of the digital era. This study concludes that the approach to child education described in the book is still very relevant and can be adapted to face the complexities of the modern world, while still adhering to Islamic principles.
