Abstract

Idiopathic scoliosis is one of the postural problems that can result from poor posture practices. Schroth exercise is a form of treatment that activate the muscles on the convex side of the vertebra and lengthening its concave side. Idiopathic scoliosis cases can also be managed with core stability exercises, which aim to enhance posture and stop compensatory movements by regulating trunk position during functional activities and static posture. Researchers are interested in comparing the efficacy of schroth exercise with core stabilization exercise on enhancing posture in patients of idiopathic scoliosis for this reason. A literature review containing data in the form of 4 publications published on the subject was the research design adopted, published after 2015 and derived from the Pubmed and Google Scholar databases. The analysis and comparison of doses of each article found that starting 8 weeks there had been a change in the value of the Cobb's angle, but it can be concluded that core stabilization exercise was more effective in
dealing with posture improvement in idiopathic scoliosis with a dose of 60 minutes / session, 2 times / week in the clinic and coupled with a home program at home.
