Abstract

Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) is an extremely important cause of maternal mortality and

as an alternative in conditions where oxytocin is not available or in areas where the patient does
not have access to skilled care. The purpose of this study was to compare the use of oxytocin
and misoprostol in PPH patients. This study is a narrative review conducted by literature
searches in several scientific journals through Google Scholar, Pubmed and Science Direct.
From the search results, obtained as many as 5855 journals and selected 40 journals that meet
the inclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria are to meet the rules of introduction, method results
and discussion and have been published for the last 10 years. Journals that could not be

concluded that the
