ONLINE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ODR) : ONLINE MEDIATION AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR DISPUTE SETTLEMENT DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN RELIGIOUS COURTS

This article wants to describe the practice of resolving disputes through online or Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) by means of mediation during the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to achieve this goal, this article is answered using a library approach, this article has two questions that are sought for answers, namely, how to practice online mediation during the Covid-19 pandemic, then furthermore, the urgency of online mediation as a solution in resolving disputes during the Covid-19 pandemic. -19. In fact, many researchers focus on the problem of resolving disputes in general, but the discussion in this article has not been the focus of their study.Therefore, this article is deemed necessary to be made as a first step in exploring the problems mentioned above. This problem is interesting to study because in practice the dispute resolution
process is carried out directly and face to face, but in this case how the dispute resolution process is carried out online (on the network) because it anticipates the spread of the virus. This article argues that the Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on all sectors of human life, one of which is the social sector. The relationship between humans and humans.
