Abstract
Cyberloafing behavior has serious implications for organizational productivity and is a particular concern among Generation Z employees. Cyberloafing refers to the activity of accessing the internet during working hours solely for personal purposes unrelated to job tasks. One factor that influences cyberloafing behavior is self-regulation. This study aims to assess the extent to which self-regulation plays a role in controlling cyberloafing behavior among Generation Z employees. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study involved 110 Generation Z employees selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used were the Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ) and a cyberloafing scale. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression test. The results showed that self-regulation has a significant influence on cyberloafing behavior among Generation Z employees, with a coefficient value of B = -0.586 and a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05). Additionally, self-regulation accounts for 90.4% of the variance in cyberloafing behavior.
