Abstract
The crime of narcotics abuse can be said to be rampant in the national and international world, where in the a quo case the author analyzes it in relation to the resolution of the case that has been carried out by the authorities. This research starts from the reading of the indictment until the final decision is read, where the law enforcement mechanism is in accordance with the material and formal law. The author uses empirical juridical research methods where the author researches and follows directly related to the resolution of the a quo case. The author also researched the sentence imposed on the defendant's brother, where it turned out that the sentence was appropriate as it should be. Therefore, the author suggests that all law enforcement officers continue to adhere to their conscience and uphold justice.
